Real women

pay for their own meal on a first or any other date.

REAL women, just like real men, are each individuals, and very different from each other, so blanket statements like this are pretty absurd.

If you can, please help this family. They were hit hard with this, and right during the holiday season. They need any help they can get. Please share as well. Let’s try to give this family one less thing to worry about this Christmas.

Yes, because your bodily autonomy is so much more important than you know…NOT MURDERING SOMEONE. /sarcasm

 #1: It’s preeeeetty darn important.

#2: It’s not murder

#3: Go protest bunnies, cats, armadillos, and the myriad of other animals that self-abort and even commit infanticide. Abortion is literally a natural thing, just as natural as pregnancy and childbirth, and both pregnancy and childbirth can carry lasting mental damages to a woman, whereas studies have shown that women who get abortions more often feel no lasting negative feelings. So, ahem, “yeah, sure, keep putting the NONEXISTENT feelings of a fetus ahead of those of a living, breathing human being, whose life will ACTUALLY be affected by pregnancy or having a child, that’s really going to help humanity out a whoooole lot /sarcasm”

#4: Are you aware how many children are sitting in the foster care system right now waiting to be adopted? Do you know how many kids that are in the foster care system NEVER get adopted? Do you know how many children grow up in abusive homes? How many are homeless right now, no roof over their heads and no food to eat? How many children die of starvation every day? Are you aware of our overpopulation problems? Or how about how many families are brought down into poverty because they got pregnant with another mouth they couldn’t afford to feed, and because of people like you, they chose to keep the baby anyway, and now instead of one unfeeling, unthinking fetus being aborted, there are two or more living, breathing children suffering because their family can’t afford to take care of them?! This is what I can’t stand about the pro-life movement. You’re not pro-life. Advocating against abortion isn’t pro-life. It’s pro-fetus. If you were pro-life you would actually care about living, breathing people, how their lives and everyone else’s can be affected by something like pregnancy, you’d be out there advocating for taking care of the life we already have instead worrying about all the “potential” people.

I called the university health services from the Walmart parking lot and said I wanted the abortion pill, and the woman said, “The abortion pill is illegal in the United States.” I was livid. I said, “That is not correct.” How many young women has she told that to? I went directly to the doctor. The lady administering the pee test said, “Congratulations, you’re pregnant!” and I thought, Congratulations, you’re an idiot! I was in my gym clothes, obviously distraught. The doctor said the abortion pill wasn’t an option in our state. I called clinics all over until I found one a four-hour drive away in Tennessee. I couldn’t have told my family. The two girls I told have kids and husbands; they couldn’t just drop everything and come with me. I drove four hours by myself, thinking about what an idiot I was for stopping birth control. I took the first pill in Tennessee. I took the second one the next day, on the Fourth of July, my favorite holiday. I was expecting something terrible. I watched movies alone. I felt fine and could’ve even gone out, but I’d made up stories about where I was.
